Have you ever set out to do one thing and then ended up doing another?

Jude was the half-brother of the Lord Jesus. He had a concern to encourage believers by writing about the faith they all shared in common.

However, there was a greater need. Believers needed to contend for that faith in a crucified and risen Saviour. False teachers were so powerful and persuasive in undermining the assurance of salvation believers enjoyed that there was a need for faithful men and women to take a stand.
